Talking about a 2JZ Toyota Crown while hang-over isn't my greatest achievement...

... but I guess I’ve tried... Damn was that difficult... At least it’s sold already and my rambling won’t affect the sale :)

Hey! It’s Flavien! :D

Nice to see you mate - very cool Crown! Somebody here in Nova Scotia near me actually has a similar imported one that I see once and awhile! You did alright in the video, I’ve seen FAR worse! :P

Redline, eh? Are you with a different company now, or did Amagasaki rename themselves? Hope all this COVID stuff hasn’t screwed over your income too much :(

I love those big JDM Toyota sedans. I wish they made them for the North American market with the steering wheel on the correct side of the car.

Lexus LS and GS anyone? They lacked the cloth interior option though.

I’ve actually seen a cloth interior GS (that wasn’t a JDM interior swap). I’m not sure if it was a special order or what. It looked...incredibly bland. The JDM Aristo c loth, however, looks pretty cool in a kitschy way:

Swapped into a US car, obviously

This and the Lexus GS are the same chassis.

Very cool car. I like the looks of the interior, it looks much more interesting than the interior of the Aristo/GS from the same era.

I love watching you meander around random small rural roads in Japan in these videos in all sorts of delightful cars, big and small. The Crown seemed to handle the rough roads better than most of the other ones. There was almost no camera jiggle at all!

I had zero idea of that.

Leather seats are the worst. I hate them so much.

With Redline I mostly focus on Euro cars... just the occasional JDM from time to time ;)
And no, not too much effect on Covid as far as sales go... Buying cars was more of an issue. As new cars were more difficult to get for dealership, they started going after used cars to compensate, driving prices up... Not always fun, but still managed...

It’s one of the most confortable car you can buy here... Only the Century would top it...

I believe we got some similar cars over the years as various Lexus models and I deed they are extremely comfortable. No Toyota Century and usually burdened with leather seats but still very comfortable.

I like the 2nd gen Aristo interior much better even though it isn’t that much different. The changes they made just made it more inviting.

Cloth over leather or vinyl any day. That’s why I prefer JDM premium cars to German ones.

Coolness! Are there that many Euro rides to export in Japan? Are we talking JDM-market Euro cars, or Euro cars that were IMPORTED to Japan that you’re exporting again?

Glad COVID didn’t hit you as badly....sucks it made things more difficult a nd increased prices, but I guess you’re lucky export demand didn’t drop considerably!

Euro cars sold new here, but LHD yes... There was a big LHD craze on imports early to mid-2000, so all those cars are interesting for the euro market... Canadians like them too ;)

That’s true! I’ve seen some Peugeots and Renaults for sale online in the past at some Ontario and Quebec JDM import sites. :)
